Aimee McCarron

Aimee McCarron is the Councilmember for District A. She serves as the Chairwoman for the Climate and Sustainability Committee, where she is proud to carry climate resilience initiatives, like Community Solar and the Neighborhood Power Plan, across the finish line. She previously served as President of the Young Leadership Council. Her commitment to public service drove her to seek out an opportunity to work directly on the problems she saw all around our community. A lifelong District A resident, Aimee is a mother of twins and a graduate of Ursuline Academy High School, the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), and the University of New Orleans.
