Alan Templeton is President and CEO of DCOR, LLC, the largest owner and operator of oil and gas platforms in offshore California. With over two decades of leadership in the state’s offshore energy sector, he has navigated complex operational, regulatory, and environmental challenges unique to California. Alan has been deeply involved in California energy policy, engaging with state and federal agencies to balance energy needs, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance. His experience includes working directly on legislative matters impacting offshore oil and gas, such as recent policy shifts acknowledging the need for continued oil and gas production during the “mid-transition” period toward a lower-carbon future. He brings a practical, on-the-ground perspective to the intersection of policy, economics, and operations in California’s energy landscape.
