Biography

Anu Varadharajan is a director in the KPMG Alternative Investments practice, focusing on Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs). Anu has provided tax consulting services on international tax issues to Fortune 500 companies, including repatriation planning, foreign tax credit determinations, and extraterritorial income exclusions, among other areas. As part of the national KPMG QOZ team, she provides consulting services to clients focusing on locational analytics and other data aspects for clients in healthcare, renewable energy, housing, and supply chain industries.  Anu also has a go-to-market role for the QOZ practice.

Anu grew up in Singapore, attending the National University of Singapore for her Bachelors in Business Administration degree, and she holds an MBA degree from the University of Rochester Simon Business School. Anu is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) as well as an IRS enrolled agent. She is also on the board of the Louisiana Public Health Institute in New Orleans, LA.
