Ben Byboth

Benjamin Byboth is an experienced energy industry leader currently serving as the Head of Power Business at Commonwealth Fusion Systems, where he works to commercialize fusion energy. With over two decades of experience, he has held senior roles at major electric utilities, including serving as the Director of Grid Modernization at Eversource Energy and co-founding Entergy’s KeyString Labs. Benjamin’s background combines deep technical expertise in nuclear power plant operations with strategic experience in utility operations and innovation. A U.S. Navy submarine veteran, he leverages his unique perspective to address complex energy challenges and infrastructure resilience. He is also a Veterans Advanced Energy Fellow with the Atlantic Council, holding an MBA from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology.
