Chris Calavitta

Chris Calavitta serves as Oklo’s Head of Project Finance and is responsible for raising project-level debt and efficiently monetizing the tax credits generated by its pipeline of advanced nuclear energy projects. Mr. Calavitta joined Oklo in 2025 and brought a unique and complementary background in project finance, project development, M&A, and corporate finance. Over his 33-year career as a transactional finance specialist, Mr. Calavitta has helped close 60 deals with an aggregate transaction value of over $9.4 billion, including $6.9 billion in renewable power and energy infrastructure transactions over the past 20 years at market-leading firms such as Brookfield, Macquarie, and Lightsource bp. Mr. Calavitta is a 1993 graduate of Tulane University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Management degree with distinction (summa cum laude).
