Biography

Chris Robb is a seasoned commodity markets professional who has previously worked on the physical commodity trading and private equity sides (Glencore) and the equity/futures investment side (PFM, a multi-billion $$ US based hedge fund).

Currently and since 2018, he is the principal at Robb Commodity Consulting.  His consulting practice focuses on (i) long/short equity and futures trades for a hedge fund clientele and (ii) potential private equity investments for private equity clients.  He has particular depth on battery metals (Cu, Li, Ni, and Co), Al, Fe ore, PGMs, and coal.   He also consults at the CEO and Senior Mgmt. level on Strategy and Investor Relations to publicly traded firms (previous clients (+$1 billion, +$500 million, and sub-$200 million market caps) and current clients (+$30 billion, + $450 million, and +$250 million market caps)).
