Biography
Cole Ashman is the Founder and CEO of Pila Energy, creators of the Pila Mesh Home Battery: an intelligent battery platform solving the toughest barriers to scaling residential storage—install complexity, cost, and building type limitations—to bring resilience, grid services, and appliance-level intelligence to all homes and buildings. With a background in smart home IoT and energy infrastructure, Cole previously led product for SPAN and developed category-defining energy products at Tesla, including Powerwall and Backup Gateway. Cole is a Tulane alum, class of 2016, receiving his bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering.
