David Nanus

David Nanus is President of LS Power Equity Advisors, LLC, the private equity business of LS Power, a leading investor, developer and operator of critical energy infrastructure. He is a member of LS Power’s Management, Investment, Risk and Valuation Committees. David serves as Chairman of the Board of electric vehicle charging company EVgo, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVGO), and on the boards of renewable energy companies Clearlight Energy and REV Renewables, and energy services company Opterra Energy Services. Prior to joining LS Power in 2005, David held roles in investment banking with Lazard and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.

David serves on the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability Advisory Council and is an emeritus member of the Cornell University Dyson School of Business Undergraduate Program Advisory Council. He was previously President of the Board of Trustees of Solomon Schechter Day School of Bergen County and a member of the Board of Trustees of Success Academy NYC Charter Schools. David received a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
