Biography
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a Master of Science in Public Health from Tulane, focusing on Global Environmental Health. With nearly 20 years in the Environmental and Sustainability sector, including over 10 years at the Port of New Orleans, she has led multiple projects focusing on reducing pollution and community impacts, which are only possible through collaboration and creative approaches. Emily is a Vice Chair of the American Association of Port Authorities' Environment Committee, an Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure Envision Sustainability Professional, and a certified Maritime Port Executive.
