Evan Nicoll

Evan is a venture investor and entrepreneur committed to growing Louisiana’s startup ecosystem. A triple Tulane graduate, adjunct faculty member, and former university staffer, he has led multiple early-stage investments in companies founded by Tulane alumni. Today, he co-leads 1834 Ventures, working to scale that impact statewide. Evan brings experience in venture capital, startup advising, and business operations, with a focus on attracting top talent back to the region. While unaffiliated with the university, 1834 Ventures invests in startups with “Tulane in their DNA” — founded by Tulane alumni, faculty, students, or members of its extended community.
