Fariba Farajbakhsh Mamaghani

Dr. Fariba Mamaghani is an accomplished Assistant Professor and core MBA faculty member at the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University. With a solid foundation in Management Science – Operations Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, she has become a leading researcher in sustainable operations management, renewable energy, environmental policy, and energy economics. Her work, which combines mathematical modeling, game theory, and data analysis, has received recognition in prestigious journals such as Operations Research. 

Dr. Mamaghani actively contributes to bridging the gap between academia and industry through her role on the Tulane Energy Institute Advisory Board. Her dedication to education is evident in her passion for teaching Business Statistics and Modeling to students across various programs. An esteemed presenter, Dr. Mamaghani has shared her insights at numerous top international conferences and universities, including INFORMS and POMS.
