Jessie Stolark

Biography
Jessie leads the Carbon Capture Coalition, a non-partisan collaboration of more than 100 organizations spanning companies, labor unions and non-profits working to enact and implement the supportive federal policy portfolio to achieve commercial liftoff of carbon management technologies, which includes carbon capture, removal, transport, reuse and storage. Coalition members recognize the important and complementary role carbon management technologies will play in helping to meet midcentury climate goals, foster domestic energy and industrial production, support and expand a high-wage jobs base and improve the environmental health of and economic benefits to affected communities. With over a decade of experience working in energy and climate policy, Jessie is a nationally recognized voice on carbon management. Her prior policy experience spans the decarbonization of critical domestic manufacturing sectors, including heavy industry and renewable fuels, and she brings significant experience from the nonprofit sector, having worked in a bipartisan manner to help enact and implement durable policy solutions to some of our nations’ most pressing energy and environmental issues. Stolark holds a master’s degree in applied geosciences and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and environmental science.
