Kevin McMahon

Kevin McMahon is Vice President, Production Assets, Gulf of America, and is responsible for safe and reliable operations across multiple assets within Shell’s offshore portfolio. Kevin joined Shell’s New Orleans office in 2006 and, over the course of his career, has held roles spanning offshore and onshore operations, as well as refining and chemicals. His leadership roles have included assignments in Houston and Midland as General Manager for Shell’s onshore portfolio and in Canada as General Manager for Shell’s Sarnia Manufacturing Center.

Kevin has been active in industry, serving as a past Board Member of the Permian Road Safety Coalition, a member of the Executive Steering Committee of the American Petroleum Institute’s Onshore Safety Alliance, and a recipient of the Louisiana Coastal Conservation Association Governor’s Award.

He is recognized for leading safety-critical operations, strengthening safety culture, improving efficiency, and advancing emissions reduction initiatives. Kevin and his family were happy to return to New Orleans in 2025 to take on his current role.
