Mark Appel

Mark Appel is a Conflict Management Consultant, Mediator and Arbitrator with ArbDB Chambers, London.  Mark Co-Chairs the Dispute Prevention and Mitigation Group for the Tulane Energy Law & Policy Center. Co-Creator of the Energy Arbitrator's List,  Mark has a long history of working internationally with the Energy Industry as a Process Design Consultant, Mediator and Trainer.  Before joining ArbDB Chambers in 2016, Mark served for many years as Senior Vice-President, Europe, Middle East and Africa for the American Arbitration Association/International Centre for Dispute Resolution.  Since 2016, Mark's practice has been focused exclusively on Investor-State Dispute Settlement.
