Matt Kisber

Over the past 40 years, I have worked to help ensure that communities, like my hometown of Jackson, TN, have access to the best possible economic development opportunities and are able to enact them on their own terms. I am proud to have been the youngest State Representative elected to the Tennessee State House, where I served for 10 terms. In 2003, I had the honor to join newly elected Governor Phil Bredesen’s administration as Tennessee’s Commissioner of Economic and Community Development where I attracted new industries and assisted existing industries to expand.

I am currently the Chairman of the Board for Silicon Ranch, a community-focused provider of renewable energy, carbon, and battery storage solutions, which I co-founded with my business partners Reagan Farr and former Governor Bredesen.
