Ken Ahmann

With over 20 years of experience in the power generation industry, I serve as Tribal Utility Authority Director for the Colusa Indian Community and COO for Colusa Indian Energy, the only Tribally owned microgrid and cogen plant developer in the country. We specialize in grant funding, turnkey project engineering, construction, and operations for energy projects in Indian Country.  

Under my leadership, the Tribal Utility Authority has delivered 100% reliability with zero power interruptions to all customers for over a decade, including casino/hotel resort, all Tribal members’ homes, Tribal government buildings, medical clinic, water treatment plants, wellness center, community facilities, and agricultural infrastructure. I am proud to be part of a dedicated team of operators, technicians, managers, electricians, and apprentices who are equally as passionate about our mission.
