General Event Information

WHEN will the Tulane Future of Energy Forum take place?
The Tulane Future of Energy Forum will take place on November 13 – 15, 2024.

WHERE will the Tulane Future of Energy Forum take place?
The Tulane Future of Energy Forum will be held on Tulane University. All venues are conveniently located around the Berger Family Lawn in the center of Tulane’s uptown campus. Please see the link to the Tulane Campus interactive map in the Overview section above.

WHAT should I do in case of rain?
All events are indoors and will happen rain or shine!

WHEN will the schedule be released?
The week of October 21
 

Registration and Admissions

HOW much does it cost to attend?
Admission to the Tulane Future of Energy Forum is free and open to the public and seating at the event is available on a first come, first serve basis.

DO I need to pre-register or can I register on-site?
Guests are encouraged to register for the event on Eventbrite. Onsite registration will be available, but pre-registration is highly recommended to ensure a smooth experience.


Travel and Accommodation 

HOW do I get to the venue?
Due to limited parking in the Uptown area, we strongly recommend you use public transportation or a taxi/rideshare to get to Tulane.
Drop-off location is available at McAlister Way and Freret Street.

All venues are conveniently located around the Berger Family Lawn in the center of Tulane’s uptown campus. An interactive map of the Tulane University uptown campus can be found here.

IS there any accommodation nearby?
Hotels and bed and breakfast partners around the city offer discounted rates to Tulanians, including parents, alumni, guests and visitors. A self-booking tool is available for each hotel on its page.*

initiatives.


Parking

IS there parking available at the venue?
Due to limited parking in the Uptown area, we strongly recommend you use public transportation or a taxi/rideshare to get to Tulane. Parking is available for guests of the Future of Energy Forum in Diboll Garage (2650 Ben Weiner Dr, New Orleans, LA 70118) on the 3rd floor and higher. Please note that parking in a reserved spot or any other location on campus will result in a ticket. 

Additional Parking: Hourly parking is available throughout the uptown campus. Hourly spaces run up to two hours and are $1/hour. Anyone parking in an hourly space is required to pay through the ParkMobile app, which can be downloaded from your phone's app store. ParkMobile options on campus are space-specific and are identified by zone numbers on signs and painted on the ground. Hourly spaces are limited to a 2-hour maximum.
Parking is also available on the streets surrounding campus (but please pay attention to street signage).

WHERE are the ADA parking spaces located?
There are two ADA parking spaces located beside the elevators on each floor of the Diboll Garage. To park in ADA spaces located in Diboll Garage, you must have a state-issued placard or license plate.
 

Amenities

Will food and drinks be available?
- Plenty of food options are available in and around Tulane during your time at the event! A full list of dining options around Tulane’s campus can be found here.
- Each day will begin with a networking hour at which coffee will be served.
