Biography

Taiwan Brown is the vice president of talent for Entergy Corporation, where she oversees the talent management, talent acquisition, employee experience and workforce development teams. 
Since joining Entergy in 2021, Brown has helped drive Entergy’s overall strategies in advancing inclusion and belonging initiatives, spearheading efforts to drive measurable improvements in inclusive climate, leadership capability, retention and engagement.

She oversees the company’s governance structure to embed inclusion, performance and culture into core business operations, and she also leads the company’s efforts to build talent pipelines with speed to ensure Entergy has the skills and capacity needed to execute its growth strategy.

The Center for Energy Workforce Development honored Brown with a 2025 Impact Award for her outstanding achievements leading workforce development initiatives that build an essential talent pipeline for the energy sector. In 2024, Diversity Woman magazine named Brown to their Elite 100 list, shining a light on her role as one of America's highest ranking Black women executives. She has served on the New Orleans Ballet Association’s board of directors since 2024.

Prior to joining Entergy, Brown was vice president of inclusion and community relations at RealPage, a Dallas-based property management software and real estate management company. In that role she led the strategic planning and implementation of global inclusion and philanthropic initiatives. She joined RealPage in 2013 as senior manager of talent management. During her tenure, she also held positions with increasing strategic responsibility within the company’s organizational development and learning organization.

Brown previously served in various human resources leadership roles at Texas Instruments, including sourcing, leadership development, talent development and HR consulting as part of their HR business partner function.

Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas.
