Tom Kuhn

Biography
Tom Kuhn is President and CEO of Global Energy Advisors and has more than 40 years of leadership in the electricity industry. He spent over three decades as President of the Edison Electric Institute, guiding policies and technologies that strengthened the grid, expanded electrification, and advanced cleaner power. Earlier, he served as President of the American Nuclear Energy Council, headed the Energy Section of Alex Brown and Sons, and was White House Liaison Officer to the Secretary of the Navy.
He currently chairs the Board of Anterix, Inc. and serves as Senior Advisor to TerraPower, Energy Impact Partners, Technosylva, and Urbint. Mr. Kuhn also sits on the Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Committee and is Chairman Emeritus of several national organizations. His honors include the United States Energy Award, Keystone Policy Center Leadership Award, and top recognition from Public Utilities Fortnightly, among others.
He holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University, an M.B.A. from George Washington University, and completed the Senior Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
